STUDENT ORIENTATION Redesigned orientation from a fullday to a half-day model, adding morning/afternoon sessions on three campuses in Summer 2026 to scale capacity without adding days Hired UNG’s first-ever Director of First-Year Experience and built a five-campus FYE working group plus a first-semester student journey map FYE Matriculation rate for new freshmen 98% Trained a 30-member Orientation Leader team (including 4 Transfer Coaches) through a new POD mentoring model 30 5,535 (+3.6%) students and 2,004 (+9.0%) families served at orientation 5,535 The most impactful thing for me has been my own growth as a student leader. I have been able to grow in my leadership abilities and with being more knowledgeable about my campus. I love being able to help out others and make them feel comfortable with their environment.
